YES you should but remember the longer the cruise the older the passengers short cruise tend to be full of young people and people with kids and all they too is drink and pike the longer cruises 10 days and more have better types of men ALSO stay away from carnival or celebrity I always travel Princess (LOL no comment required) but I understand Holland America has a LOT of older passengers
